App crash with 5500 contacts with "show private contacts to fossify phone" option turned on

It crash after a half minut

Fossify contacts works fine, maybe the issue is no caching?

Imported from file.
Phone storage (not visible for other apps)

Just tested, imported to "phone storage" and disable "show private contacts to..." and it works lika a charm as a work around

Is there a way to delete from private storage without deleting everything?

Yes. You can filter out all sources except "Phone storage (not visible to other apps)" and then delete all contacts. After that re-enable your other sources.
