Massive 500k Async XML Import - Slow

Hello,

I am trying both method to add_variable and import_xml and I am noticing the server will register them synchronously. Is there a way to register or import nodes extremely quick and in parallel. We have roughly 500k nodes we want to register for our simulated tests. Even 10k-50k nodes takes a long time to register. Anything that could help speed this up would be great.
