Is the public opensource freeboard development DEAD?

Last commit 4 years ago, 22 pull requests open - no one cares?

So why isn't there a big fat banner "sorry abandoned software"

Why not close all pull requests and issues, they don't get resolved anymore...

Just deactivte issues and pull requests in the github settings

I forked it and added some pull requests from here, my focus lies on mqtt as datasource - added basic mqtt v5 userProperties support:

seems to work pretty fine out of the box.

If you want to dev it, the just get under the hood.

@slayer522 You already seen that i forked it and added 73 commits? Added e.g. mqtt v5 support and many other things ...

What I find unfortunate here is that the maintainer has not even been able to delete the issues and pull requests and set the repository to read-only in all these years. An absolutely incredibly difficult task!

By the way, freeboard.io has also been buried in the meantime.
