Unable to change windows mouse cursor settings while Fusion/ZoomText is running

I have had this issue since ZoomText 2020 and have just installed Fusion 2025.2504.13.400 and the issues remains. If you turn off the mouse enhancements so as to use 'normal', the mouse cursor defaults to the windows model but is tiny and using the size adjuster in windows settings doesn't affect the cursor. I much prefer the windows cursor but with Fusion or ZoomText running it's far too difficult to use.
