Best way to have Garmin collect location logs in background and sync it to Dawarich later?

I know there's probably a way where I can sync all my location logs to Garmin Connect and from there pull it with python-garminconnect, but I was wondering if there's a secure self hosted way of sharing location data directly with PC which then can be synced to Dawarich?
