PHP 81 Compatibility

Hi, we are having critical application that use this friendsofsymfony/oauth-server-bundle. When I'm trying to update composer I'm getting the following message.
- Root composer.json requires friendsofsymfony/oauth-server-bundle ^1.6 -> satisfiable by friendsofsymfony/oauth-server-bundle[1.6.0, 1.6.1, 1.6.2]. - friendsofsymfony/oauth-server-bundle[1.6.0, ..., 1.6.2] require php ^5.5|^7.0 -> your php version (8.1.6) does not satisfy that requirement.

Is there any way to get this support for PHP 81. Or else what are the alternatives I can go for ?

There is no tagged version for PHP 8.1 support; you must use the "dev-master" currently.

What prevent us from tagging a version with PHP 8 ?
