[Bug]:SSE Does NOT launch after installation

Troubleshooting

• I have read the documentation.
• I have searched for existing issues.
• I have updated to the latest installer version.
• I have read the post-install documentation.
• I have read the 'Troubleshooting' section of the post-install documentation.

What happened?

Installed MO2, had to skip winetricks install fail (it worked anyways with Fallout 4, plus, I already have it)
Started Skyrim SE
Said was running, yet MO2 is not started.
Tried searching for help in issues page, didn't help.

What did you expect to happen?

Install MO2, maybe have a winetricks install fail.
Start Skyrim SE
Verify modded
Begin modding

Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Install MO2 to Skyrim on Linux Mint

Installer version

6.0.6

Targeted game

Skyrim SE

Linux Distro

Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon

Logs

Couldn't find logs in MO2 folder :(

Additional Notes

I had to delete over 3000 dump files in Skyrim's directory.

i got the same thing, also on Mint 22.2 cinnamon.

both on Skyrim SE and Fallout 3 GOTY, same installer worked a few days before.

Yeah, exactly the same happens to me. Just checked version 6.0.2, it works fine.

Hey guys. I tried installing it, and pressed no when asked to install any plugins and it worked.
I am not closing this issue though, as I have no clue if that actually fixes it. This is also still an issue if it does.

I had the same issue and managed to fix it by doing a manual setup of protontricks: #903 (comment)
