Typing in search input does nothing

What I experienced:

• Installed Cling, opened it, and let it index
• Call Cling and type something that exists in input

Result: File list doesn't change

Expected: File list to filter according to my input

NFI how to get this useful-looking software to actually work.

ENV: M4 macOS 15.6.1

Make sure you gave it local network access so that it can communicate with the local fzf server that does the actual searching.

Right, where's that set? I have:

• Given Cling Full Disk Access
• Can't see/add Cling in Privacy & Security / Local Network
• Given Cling in/out full access via Little Snitch.

Honestly I'm not sure either now. The system used to ask for that permission when Cling started and the app appeared in Privacy & Security / Local Network but this doesn't seem to happen for some reason.

There's no explicit permission that I can ask for, apps simply try to open a local connection and the system should do the rest. Not sure how to help further.

Ah hell! I am so excited to use Cling as it looks fantastic. Boo, I guess... maybe—waves hands—it will fix itself with next OS?
