Monthly Ticket For Quest Changes (Feb 2026)

Overview:

The running ticket for quest changes; a ticket for any problems with any quests. Just post below and I will get to your comment as soon as I can. For more in-depth suggestions or problems, creating a Dedicated Ticket is better. This ticket is more focused on small and clear problems and suggestions that don't really need any larger discussion.

Unaddressed items from last ticket (#23111) can be found below. All listed changes are 2.9+ only.

To See Latest Questbook:

1. Be sure your GTNH instance is reasonably up to date
2. Grab the most up-to-date quest files from Here For 2.9+ or Here For 2.8.4 and download by either pasting the URL in Here or forking the pack and grabbing the folder from the appropriate branch.
3. Rename the folder "DefaultQuests" if needed and replace the folder in your .minecraft\config\betterquesting
4. Run /bq_admin default load after new folder is in (this will NOT impact your quest progression).

Hi. i cant open sub-issues so i'm going to write some quest changes here

• Sulfuric heavy and light oil quests

There is a minor discrepancy between the quest name and requirement 

Fix: change "heavy sulfuric fuel" and "light sulfuric fuel" into "sulfuric heavy fuel" and "sulfuric light fuel"

• Wireless charger quest:
  AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAFiw==

  

  The quest implies you need a HV wireless charger to charge nanosuit. this is erroneous as the wireless charger charges tools and armor at energy tier+2. Additionaly, this makes the quest completely disconnected from the HV quest lines since HV wireless charger is IV tier.

  Fix: change quest from HV wireless charger into LV wireless charger. state in description that LV charger can charge up to HV tier (nanosuit) and is to be crafted at HV. Additionally, place the quest connecting it to the "field generator LV" quest in the Hv tab.

• Ore drilling plant I quest:

  This quest should have as a reward the completion of the HV single block miner quest (AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADpA==), mimicking the fluid drilling rig quest.

• MV Field Generator

  This is quite the gate. The Advanced Replicator quest (AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHVw==) should probably use the MV Field Generator and the Data Orbs as an AND gate instead of the field generator being gated behind data orbs.
