How do .env file work for running geonode and geoserver on other port ?

I m trying to run géonode and geoserver on other port than 80 and 8080. Could someone explain me how to do that ?

Hi,
You can do this by changing values for HTTP_PORT and GEOSERVER_LB_PORT in .env, but keep in mind you may also need to adapt some lines and ports in docker-compose.yaml (if you're deploying with docker anyway).

No you cannot use a domain that you do not own like geonode.org to deploy.

It seems like the deploy workflow is unclear to you, you should follow a complete tutorial or guide in order to do this, and may be try to deploy first using default config / port before trying to change those.

I would suggest running geonode nginx on a different port and tonot expose 8080 of geoserver to the host. (Internal it can use it due to the geonode docker network). Then whatever manages your webservice (nginx, apache2?) on port 80 should be extended to also proxy pass requests to the geonode nginx port for a certain subdomain

So to summarize he should comment the port section in compose file, and use another port than 80 in .env HTTP_PORT variable, then use nginx or apache to redirect a specific subdomain to this port.
