Constrained extent for entire GeoNode project (incl. metadata thumbnail)

Hi colleagues,

i'm new to GeoNode and like to restrict the extent of any geo spatial operation or display for my GeoNode project https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode-project. Covering:

• restriction of panning of any map, dataset or dashboard, geostory etc.
• incl. during metadata thumbnail creation or similar action
• no user except sudo/admin shall have the possibility at any stage to pan outside the defined extent

How can i integrate this into my GeoNode project ?
