How is the geoserver java artefact built ?

Hi,

The geoserver docker image is built with the geonode-docker project I understand that. But the dockerfile links to a geoserver.war artefact that I can't find anything about in the geonode github repositories.
It seems that the artefact is a geonode flavored version, if so is there an accessible repository that defines the build for that project ?

I have found that the geowebcache status page ( accessible through geoserver/gwc/home) has been blocked and I wanted to patch that. But I can't find the home for build of that project.

Ok I think I found out.
The geoserver war artefact is built by this project https://github.com/GeoNode/geoserver-geonode-ext
The 24.x version is patched with a geowebcache security rule that blocks the status page

@pchevali the patch is required for security reasons. I don't think it affects GeoNode's functionality.
Feel free to adapt it locally.
