Custom Scale in Map

Hello, I have been stuck for quite a while now with this one, I'm trying to customize the visible scales in my geonode instance (its based on vanilla geonode). I have not found any help regarding this on neither GeoNode nor MapStore documentations.
Is there any way I can control the scales visible within the scale selector (on the bottom right), so I can choose upto which scales I want to show/hide?

for instance, if I want to zoom beyond 1:500 I am unable to do it currently.
Would appreciate any help, thanks!

I figured it out, inside the map viewers scale selector, we can control which scales to show.
