Install went absolutely smooth with uninstalling 1.1.29, installing 2.0.0, while I still run SyncThing 1.30.0 and let the 2.0.0 release soak a while before I make the jump. Thank you for this! Love that it also moved to .NET 8 LTS, and still supports the Portable Edition.

Upgrading SyncTrayzor Portable also went smooth. From vs 1.1.29 --> 2.0.0.

1. Stop/Exit SyncTrazor in the System Tray.
2. Extracted new Portable folder.
3. Copied "data" folder from old Portable folder to new Portable folder.
4. Located SyncTrayzor.exe in new Portable folder and double-clicked to start.
5. Located SyncTrayzor icon in the System Tray and double-clicked to open.
6. Confirmed existing Devices and Folders configuration was intact and syncing and scanning started immediately.
7. Opened Settings and set Automatically Start on Logon.
8. Rebooted and confirmed all functioning as expected.

I am an occasional and relatively naïve user of SyncTrayzor Portable. Just downloaded and 'installed' yesterday, to replace the old SyncTrayzor, and all is working fine.

However, have one niggle with the tray display of 'Recent File Downloads' (transfers). The sort order for that is the oldest transfer is shown at the top of list and more recent transfers are appended to the bottom of the list. I am thinking that it would be a good feature if the user had the choice to alter that sort order so that the most recent transfer gets added to the top of the list and older transfers remain at the bottom of the list. Would you be able to code that?

Thanks very much for resurrecting SyncTrayzor. It's a good thing to have.

I'm not sure if I follow. The list of "Recently Updated" files is sorted newest to oldest update. The list of items that are currently downloading is also sorted from latest to oldest download, though this list should never be huge as syncthing limits the amount of files it pulls concurrently.

Thank you for your response. I was referring to the part of the SyncTrayzor interface at the System Tray, as shown in the screenshots below. On further experiment with this I found the 'problem' solved just by clicking around. It seems that System Tray GUI SyncTrayzor shows the items with sort order oldest (at top of display) and newest (at bottom of the display) — as here:

The sort order can be seen in the above image and I would note that I had not scrolled down the GUI to see the most recent file displayed. Then I arranged a couple of test syncs and looked at the tray GUI again. To see my most recent transfers I only had to scroll-down a little in the GUI as shown in this image:

So in trying to understand what was going on with the GUI display it seems the following is the case. If the user clicks the system tray icon to see the GUI the GUI display shows the list scrolled down to replicate the display of the list as at the last scroll-point at the time (the previous time) the user looked at the GUI. This is a actually a pretty good and thoughtful way to arrange sorting of the GUI list. In all, please disregard my original comment – things are managed pretty well as they are.

So glad I stumbled onto this! I foolishly clicked the Upgrade to 2.0 in the original Synctrazor install, only to find out that it stopped working after doing so. Poked around Google for a few minutes and someone linked this project, and I'm back in business. Awesome!
