NEXT_PUBLIC_FEEDS_BASE_URL

Hi - great initiative, keen to dig into this to help with our project we are build out using ActivityFeeds.

Can you confirm where to find the correct value for: NEXT_PUBLIC_FEEDS_BASE_URL? I am trying to get this running locally, but am stumbling on this.

And second - do we need to anything specific set up wise in the Feed itself?

I ran their demo version and it looked like it was using https://chat.stream-io-api.com

gave that a shot and was able to get past the initial screen but still wasnt working after that. Demo app actually seemed to be not working either at this point. :(

Hey, it should work now! There were some breaking changes in the SDKs, but everything’s good again. Also, NEXT_PUBLIC_FEEDS_BASE_URL is now optional.

If you want to use this demo app with your own app, just create one here and add the key/secret in the app (when you choose a username on the first screen). Or, if you’re running the demo locally, just put them in the .env.

Note: If you’re using a custom app, NEXT_PUBLIC_FEEDS_BASE_URL should be set to https://chat.stream-io-api.com.

Can definitely confirm this feeds demo still isn't functional.

Verified with my own app keys (v3 feeds enabled) at https://feeds-v3-demo.vercel.app/
