@mention users is flaky - works on web, not swiftui

What did you do?

We get reports from users that the @-mentioning of users is not working great. Very often users doesn't show in the pop-up, and if we try the same query on the stream web portal, we see a different list.

What did you expect to happen?

The @-mention popup gives you the person you are looking for. Example, if I type "Mike morris" I expect that user to show up. This person will show up if I search on the stream web portal, but not in our app. I haven't made any custom text-input overrides.

What happened instead?

The @-mention popup does show user results after 2-3 characters typed, but very often when we type more than that (especially with space after first name) we don't see the users we search for. Again, on web it works fine.
