Virtual audio device not supported for input #3
Description
Virtual audio device output (via Loopback) works great. But, using virtual audio device as an input doesn't appear to work. It looks like it runs very briefly, then gets stuck. The audio level hangs at the starting level, but doesn't vary. If I change the volume, and reselect the device (after changing to another one), it gets stuck at the new level. FYI, I've also tried blackhole_2ch, and the same problem occurs.
I'd like to use this for real-time noise reduction in a radio transmission, and the audio device is virtual because I use an application on my Mac (SmartSDR) that connects to the radio over the network. It's not a physical connection, like a USB digital audio codec.
