Newly Published Pages Sometimes Show 404 (Not Tracked in Insights)

Hi GitBook team,

We’ve been noticing a strange issue and wanted to check in to see if you could help us figure it out.

• For some newly published pages, the first visit sometimes returns a 404 page – even though the page definitely exists.
• After a quick refresh, the page loads just fine.
• It seems to happen mainly on macOS using Chrome, but even then, it’s not 100% consistent – some users experience it, others don’t.

We have confirmed that intentionally creating incorrect URLs for testing purposes is identified as 'Broken URLs' on the Insight page. However, the 404 cases we actually experienced were not aggregated.

Could you take a look and see what might be causing this? Thanks a lot in advance :)
