Disable "Copy" button #1052

I'm currently using GitBook to host private course content for paying users only. I've noticed that a new "Copy" button has been added to the top of every page, which allows users to copy the entire page content with one click. Given that my content is private and part of a paid course, this functionality significantly increases the risk of unauthorized sharing. I need a way to disable or hide this button entirely across my workspace. Is there a setting available to turn off this feature? If not, could you please suggest a way to remove it or prevent it from appearing for readers? Thanks in advance for your help. |

Hi @ucals, you can disable the copy option (along with other page actions) by going to your site → Customisation → Configure. The copy action is part of the "markdown" set of options. You can also disable AI integrations. Disabling all actions hides the button completely. |
