Syncing updates to published sites seems very slow

I merged a couple of CRS on a couple of my spaces - one earlier this morning and another within the last hour.

Usually after I merge a change, the updates are visible in the published site within a minute or so.

That doesn't seem to be happening. For the earlier update, after a few hours I finally on the GitBook toolbar got the prompt to refresh the site so that I could see the changes.

For the more recent change, it's still not showing up after hard refreshes and a reboot, and the GitBook toolbar does not have the refresh option yet.
