Feature Request: Enhance Support for MathJax

I would like to request improved and more comprehensive support for MathJax within GitBook.

For users who rely on mathematical notation, scientific formulas, or technical documentation, robust MathJax rendering is essential. Enhancing MathJax support—such as improved compatibility, better inline and block rendering, more consistent styling, and fewer rendering failures—would greatly benefit users working in academic, scientific, and engineering fields.

Strengthening MathJax integration would significantly improve GitBook’s suitability for technical documentation and expand its appeal to a wider professional audience.
