User-level block of GitBook Agent

I get that many people like having LLMs write their documentation for them. I do not. Please add the ability to turn off any suggestions that I interact with GitBook Agent at the user level.

Hi @PlethoraChutney - thanks for your feedback! By default, AI features aren’t working automatically in the background - they’re all features you need to use explicitly!

That being said, you’re able to turn off GitBook AI features from appearing in your organization settings, under general (Disable AI features)

Your app is littered with AI garbage now though:

Frankly, I don't trust you to stick to this already-annoying level of intrusion. I want a user-level off switch for all gitbook agent features. If you won't do that, could you please add a class or attribute to all HTML elements which relate to gitbook agent so that I can adblock them?

Turning off the AI features described in the answer above will hide the reviewer from appearing, the implementation with GitBook Agent button, and the write with AI option - all of the things you’ve sent in the screenshot.

The only one that cannot be hidden is GitBook Agent inside of a change request (image below), but if AI features are turned off, it will not work and instead will show a “enable AI feature button”

Can you please try turning off the setting and seeing if that helps?

I understand that, like all of your fellow AI companies, you've given my organization the ability to turn it off. But I am not my organization, I am a user. I have already read your documentation and looked for Disable AI features in Organization Settings > General. It is not there. That is why I posted this feature request here.
