Weird page redirects

Getting a strange issue when sharing GitBook on my subdomain. Can't share direct links here since the content is confidential, but happy to share in a private support session.

The issue:

• Gitbook content at subdomain.domain.com/content work great
• But navigating to subdomain.domain.com just redirects me to domain.com (not desired behavior!)
• Clicking on the top-level page in the GitBook UI (which is README.md in our repo) also boots me out of the docs and back to the main site.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Reaching a bit of crisis point since we're at a point where we either have to switch docs providers or delay release. No response from support thus far ...
