Unknown option --plugins

The following

gitbook build ./ --plugins=disqus

results in this error

error: unknown option `--plugins'

Was this option perhaps removed in newer versions of gitbook ? I went all the way back to 0.2.4 but it didnt work. Any help would be appreciated.

Gitbook no longer supports the --plugins option for any of its plugins. The documentation in the README.md file on how to use this plugin has been updated with pull request #2
