How can i update the Green Line Placeholder?

I just wanted to ask whether we can update the green place holder to show exactly where the content will fall e.g if i drop an image, rather than the green placeholder line, I want to show a box with the width of the image that I'm dropping on the canvas.

The only discussion I could find was as to how we can update the colour of the line. I want to update other properties w.r.t the block I'm dragging.
