Allow resizing of Views Container

I want to make the views-container resizable. At the panel's default size the properties are squished and unreadable, like in the photo.
I'm wondering if there is a way to allow the views-container to be resized by the user.

I've tried adding setting it this way:

 var resizable = {
    maxDim: 400, minDim: 100,
    tc: 0, cr: 0, cl: 1, bc: 0,
    keyWidth: 'width'
};

var p = editor.Panels.getPanel( 'views-container' );
p.set( 'resizable', resizable );
editor.Panels.removePanel('views-container');
editor.Panels.addPanel(p);

This does allow resizing, but unfortunately it removes all content from the panel:

Is it possible to resize this panel without stripping all of it's content?
