Selector Manager in custom plugin

Is it possible to make componentFirst of selectorManager to be turned false only for a particular plugin?

This is how i initialises my plugin

Haven't tried it but I guess you could do something like this:

editor.on('component:selected',(component)=>{
    if(component.isInstanceOf('Testing') ){
    //if you want the children of the 'Testing' component to be included as well, you can add || component.isChildOf('Testing')
        editor.Selectors.setComponentFirst(false)
    }//you might add an else condition and set it to true for other components
})

Hi @glaprida ,

This is working, but after dropping this component componentFirst becomes true for the entire editor.
That is, after dropping the component, if we change the style of a particular class, it will get reflected everywhere irrespective of the component.

Have you add the else condition as well?

editor.on('component:selected',(component)=>{
    if(component.isInstanceOf('Testing') ){
        editor.Selectors.setComponentFirst(false)
    }else{
        editor.Selectors.setComponentFirst(true)
    }
})
