Does GDT service have an edit mode?

I'm interested in this service as an alternative to running the IPC service inside an active database in the openLCA app; however, I'm not sure if this service runs outside the 'read-only' flag, which I see in your examples. Can I use the API client's put command to make changes to a database with this client?

@dt-woods Absolutely, you can try running without the --readonly flag default it's false, so, this condition will evaluate true.

notes:

• make sure to create the /path/to/unzipped_zolca/databases/ directory.
• make sure to unzip the file in the databases directory with a dir name.
  eg unzip your.zolca -d /path/to/unzipped_zolca/databases/${some_name_here}
• then you can run the docker like
  e.g docker run -p 8080:8080 -v /path/to/unzipped_zolca/:/app/data -t gdt-server -db ${some_name_here}
  • assuming you build the Dockerfile in your local with name gdt-server
