I would like to check on the nature of chromVar deviation scores. I am investigating how the chromVar deviations vary across different clusters. To do that, I would need to average the chromVar deviations across cells from the different clusters.
I am wondering if I should use the single-cell deviation values or z-scores? Also, are the deviation values log-transformed? Do I need to exponentiate the values before averaging them?

Hi all,

Many thanks in advance
