Add number of Counts to ArchRprojects when adding GEX

It would be useful to be able to plot the number of reads per cell onto UMAPs. It's a question I'm often asked by my supervisor and I'm always sad that it's not easily accessible in ArchR. It's a part of the core Seurat analysis pipeline, so it should be an easy addition?

HI @connorrogerson , indeed it should be something easy to do. Unfortunately my bandwidth is pretty stretched at the moment. What I could suggest is maybe adding to cellColData(). Reference here

That would make it so running plotEmbedding would be able to colour by your read depth given a column name.
