Does ReplaceV method support removing properties on a vertex ?

Let's say I have a vertex with 2 properties, this vertex corresponds to this class in my C# code:

public class A 
{
    public string Id {get; set;}
    public string MyMandatoryProperty {get; set;}
    public string? MyOptionalProperty { get; set;}
}

If I do the following code,

a.MyMandatoryProperty = "newValue";
a.MyOptionalProperty = null;
await g.ReplaceV(a);

I am expecting the property MyOptionalProperty to be updated to null or removed but this is not the case, it is not updated whereas the MyRequiredProperty is correctly updated. So I am wondering if ReplaceV support removing properties on a vertex.

But maybe I am missing something ?
