Anomalies when merging contours

Hi Karl,

Hope all is well. Thanks for fixing that bug! It is working great.

However, I think I found a new one, where nodes are getting dropped after the merge which is resulting in unclosed polygons. It’s not always reproducible and we haven’t been able to draw any conclusions about why this geometry error is occurring. In some cases this error results in a JOSM warning asking to update the plugin (we are using the latest update). Please let me know if you need any more information. Here’s a couple of screen shots and a video of it, if that helps.
