Description
bugs
- when a message is sent there is a chance you redirected to another conversation
- two of the same image can not be sent in succession
- there is a small chance an image will not be sent
- refreshing while in a conversation will take you back to the empty conversation page
- currently you can't send a video taken directly from being taken on a mobile device
- there are some issues with mobile responsiveness
- it is relatively slow
- the content of the message input text box should not global throughout all conversations, it should have a different state for each conversation
features to add
- store light/dark mode in the database by the user, not in local storage
- add previews for images being sent
- add notifications
- make is so you can't just create a conversation with someone, you send them an invite to a conversation
- detect file type on attachments and embed them correctly, allowing for more than just images
- implement password changing
- add notifications
- add edit messaging messages
