ECU-C Port 4560

I recently acquired an ECU-C, which has a new undocumented port exposed: Port 4560

I know that 8899, 4540, and 502 are an api and modbus, but has anyone explored port 4560? I have not found any discussion of the topic. My goal is to get shell access on the ECU-C, and to document the purpose of this port.

Hi @TaylorTWBrown, There should be another port: 8080/tcp open http thttpd 2.25b (Or maybe not open on your ECU).
Port 4560 is not an assigned port from IANA Authority then difficult to know without known signature.
I think if you want to get a shell access, you'll need to use some exploit with metasploit.
The web servers are quite old so I guess it should be possible on the http servers.
I don't have any ECU but it would be great if you succeed and share a copy of the whole ECU-C file system.

@TaylorTWBrown @EricMicPro Back in February of this year, shell access was possible, but few people knew about it. Frankly, I don't think this is the right place to collaborate on hacking the ECU by gaining shell access; there are other forums for that. I don't want to participate, facilitate, or be involved. Please stay within the boundaries of the purpose of this repository, which is the HA integration. I hope you understand, thank you.

Are you willing to refer me to the discussion link? APSystems is violating copyright law by not releasing their GPL code, so I don't feel too badly about poking around a device that I own, but I understand your apprehension and am happy to move discussion elsewhere.
