Old integration bij ksheumaker proving unremovable

Hi all,

I'm pulling my hair out with this one. I was using ksheumaker's old integration to connect to my APS ECU, but obviously I've migrated. However, in Settings->Devices & Services->HACS, I still see the old 'APSystems ECU-R' integration. I can disable the device/service, but I can't remove it. The relevant folder has already been manually deleted from homeassistant/custom_components/.

Fixed by re-adding the repo, re-downloading the integration that was still half-present on my system, then removing it again, and finally removing the repo again.

I'm glad you've found your way to the further developed version of the integration, it has more improvements and options.

I understand the confusion. Settings > Devices & Services > HACS shows integrations installed via HACS, but it's not the place to remove them. To do this, go to HACS on the left panel, where you'll find the option to remove the integration. The integration will then be removed from homeassistant/custom_components. Don't forget to restart HACS afterward, otherwise the integration will remain loaded in HA. There's also an option to delete it via the integration itself, but be aware that in this case, you're not removing the integration from homeassistant/custom_components; it's deactivated. Restarting always reloads the integration but keeps it deactivated. Hopefully, this clarifies things.
