How to disable maxpower #62
-
Hoi Edwin, much, much thanks for your fantastic integration. A question, how do I disable maxpower for an inververter after having set it? Looking it up in the code I now understand it's max panel power? So after having set it to 500 it can stay there? |

You can bring back the slider to 500: |

@HAEdwin, I retested using your suggestion and the panels obey the set maxpower to the watt exact. So if set to 50 and coming from an actual output of eg 300+ watt, each panel will supply 50 watt after a period of gradually decreasing the output (will take 5 to 10 minutes to reach the set maxpower). The ecu-c prefers grid stability, I assume. Side-remark, in the section 'prequisites' in https://github.com/HAEdwin/homeassistant-apsystems_ecu_reader you state that the ecu-c needs a wired connection to work with the integration. I started with a wireless connection on the wifi lan and for my ecu-c at least that works fine. I have tried a wired connection from the ecu-c to my KPN internet router (as said, after configuring the wireless settings!), but that did not automatically work, the ethernet lights remained dark. I have not investigated further, for now the ecu-c on the wlan works fine. |

You can bring back the slider to 500:
Or from an automation:
