Older version code not working - please help!

Hi all,
I am using an older version of HASPone because it is horizontal (European standard box) and it would be very painful to rewrite HASPone to be horizontal in the new version.
I have another HASPone with exactly the same configuration that is running since more than a year perfectly, but with this one I am only able to show the first label on the first p[1]b[1]. What am I doing wrong, please?

Just to get this out of the way: the codebase you are running is "out of support", meaning I haven't looked at it in a year and the entire repo has been retired and migrated to the HASPone solution. So, it might just be broken due to a breaking change in Home Assistant or something like that, and if you are really into keeping it running, you're going to have to dig into this one as I don't think myself nor anyone else is looking to spend the time/effort to keep the old version going.

I will STRONGLY recommend moving to the new platform as all support and development efforts are going to be targeted there.

Having said all of that - do you have any log messages or any details as to what you think might be going on?

I think I will follow your suggestion and migrate to HASPone new version. I will have to basically rewrite your code in the blueprint together with all the automations, correct? The nextion display is the easiest part (it's already done).

@aderusha the error I'm getting from nextion is always "Nextion Ack timeout" I can see it from the mqtt messages published. Any direction you could give me?

That means that, for some reason, commands sent to your Nextion were not acknowledged by the Nextion. Could be a speed mismatch (although the code has a routine which should handle that), could be noisy wiring or power, anything that would interfere with the communication between the screen and MCU. Try setting the serial speed lower maybe?
