openHASP esp23-4848 without HomeAutomation only used with Arduino

Hello I am new in HASP
i buyed a simple ESP32 Display by Aliexpress and want to use it with my own written ARDUINO Software
the big Problem is the very complex Display 4848 with the Touchcontroller ( Guition ESP32-S3-4848S040 )

i only want to get a temp from a MQTT , display the Temp and switch a GPIO if lower or higher as a defined Temp
but i am lost in this complex openHASP
i understand to shop text or make buttons but i did not understand how i can get data from an exist MQTT server
