Swagger Documentation not complete

I was trying to fiddle my through the Documentation and the Swagger part - it took my some time e.g. in the "Data" part, Query section to find out what the Body part actually contains. I still miss the data structures that are supposed to come back or how I can define what should come back from a query. A working sample in the tutorial would be nice as well.
