Below are some suggestions that may be useful in the future or applicable to make the launcher more practical.

First :
We all know the sorting system in Windows, for example by time, name, and size
We need something similar here so that mods or resourcepacks can be sorted by their status (activated or inactive), download date, size, and so on.

Second :
Here we need a new section to edit shaders and datapacks more easily

Third :
Here, there should be a drop-down menu allowing you to choose a specific loader, such as Fabric or Forge, to facilitate the search process. You can also add an option to customize the size of mod icons for better identification, or use a smart system that identifies the best mod version for your Minecraft version and its corresponding loader, then simply press the download button and let the system handle the rest

Fourth:
As you can see, there is a large, completely empty space here that can be used for something else
Except the beta channel notice, of course :)

There have already been calls to add the sorting functionality you mentioned to the “All Instances” list, and the same person also referenced the list found under Edit Instance > Mods.

For the Simplified Chinese localization, the launcher previously used the term “version” to refer to different game instances, but this caused significant confusion. This year, HMCL's Simplified Chinese localization has been fully revised to use “instance” instead.
