Not detecting the best quality available for videos/reels

When downloading posts/stories with videos or reels, it's only detecting 720p x 1080p videos. But downloading the same post/video using yt-dlp you get better quality: 1080p x 1920p videos.

I think they messed up the api somehow. The video_versions field have 3 items but all of them is 720p. I remember got 1440p before.

Yeah, you can check how yt-dlp is doing the fetching of the videos to adapt to any recent api changes.

I just watch video from https://www.instagram.com/explore/ and it's always 720p. I gonna wait until Instagram backend devs fix the api and if they have breaking changes I will resolve that later.

They add 4K resolutions to the api even those it still has some bug. I also change the code a little bit to get the max resolutions item instead of hard code index. I will close this issue on the next holiday.

I just release version v5.1.12 so I gonna close this issue, it's gonna get the largest instead of hardcode index like old versions.

You can go to Instagram user areum_deuri to check that they actually add 4k resolutions to the api.

BTW, I still have no idea why they still not fix the 720p to 1440p resolutions for old videos after months now. I have ctreated a post on Twitter to ask the Instagram developers to fix the issue but seem like no one care about that.
