Couldn't download clm_mappingfiles.txt

I have a problem and would like to know your suggestion. As I do not have access to the CLM mappingdata, I tried to download it, and still it did not work.

wget --no-check-certificate -i clm_mappingfiles.txt

Do you know why?

Anyway, I would like to run a single-point simulation (only 1 pixel with 0.01 degree resolution), and I already created the SCRIP file (.nc). Do you have a recommendation in regard to the mapping file that I should use?

Hi @mvhulten,

I have the clm_mappingfiles.txt containing the list of URLs for the SCRIPgrid files. I should download it in different resolutions. So, for my first question, I think I know the answer. For my second question, do you have any suggestion? Because from what I saw on the list of available grids, the best resolution is 3 min * 3 min (or 0.05 deg * 0.05 deg). It is still too coarse for the single-point simulation (0.01 deg*0.01 deg)?
