Rails 6.0 was released recently. All active software should be maintained and kept at least on a version getting security updates. At this time 4.2.12 is getting security updates but that will be ending soon.
Describe the solution you'd like
Update this project to use Rails 5.2. Confirm the best way to go about this, it may require updating to Rails 5.0 before updating 5.0 to 5.2. We are not updating immediately to Rails 6.0 as it's a recent release and stability is not as known as 5.2.
