Is there a way to present the modal view controller from the tab bar, animate the tab bar to hidden, like Apple Music App?

When do you think your major version of this great job will be available?

I think you need to have a custom view between the container view and the presented view. If not presented view is animated from the bottom and not from the tab bar. Optionally we could have the possibility to add a chevron on this view.

The implementation is gonna be a bit different from your suggestion here; I'm leaning towards a more customisable API where users can essentially do whatever they want.

It's gonna require significant design and engineering effort so I can't really promise an ETA, sorry.
