I suggest that, before the user's very first hearing test, we display a short tutorial or introduction. This should familiarize the user with the test process, similar to what happens during a real hearing test.
The tutorial could include:
- Example/test sounds played with corresponding labels, so the user knows what to expect.
- Instructions or tips on how and when to press the button.
- Only after the user has interacted (e.g., pressed the button a couple of times), the real test should begin.
- This would help reduce confusion and improve the reliability of the results, especially for first-time users.
