User Notes

This Hot Fix resolves:

1. several problems relating to the addition of Effects to controls within a profile. These problems are described in issues #892 and #893.
2. Delivers new patches for the CH-47F #894 following changes to files shipped by ED. The center MFCD and the Pilot's MFCD's no longer need patches. The SFDs viewports have been renamed to "LEFT_SFD" (copilot) and "RIGHT_SFD" (pilot)..

In this release, we have a change in attitude in Helios. We make a step forward in the appearance of ADI's (mainly) with new 3D components. We also deliver the ability to globally alter the colors used in a profile, and this has the potential to easily deliver night versions of profiles at the flick of a switch (literally). Additionally, there are numerous changes to interfaces, and a few bugs smashed along the way.

1. Custom Gauge Ball control added to the Custom Controls section of the Toolbox to give the ability to use a 3D sphere in your gauges. The 3D Sphere can rotate around all three axes, and can have the lighting direction adjusted. There is a Wiki page relating to this control here

2. Custom Gauge Cylinder control added to the Custom Controls section of the Toolbox. This gives the ability to use a 3D cylinder in your gauges which will help with the likes of compasses and some ADIs. There is a Wiki page relating to this control here

3. Color Adjustment Effect Control has been added to the Special Controls section of the Toolbox. When added to a profile, it provides the ability to adjust the colors used in the profile. Other controls can be bound to the Color Adjustment Effect control so that when the profile is running, the colors can be enabled/disabled, or individual color channels dynamically adjusted. 4. The F-16, M-2000C, AV-8B, A-10C, F/A-18C, AH-64D and UH-60L attitude indicator gauges in the toolbox have been upgraded to be 3D.
   

5. Fix for a bug where reflections on some gauges (notably in the AV-8B) were not being scaled correctly.

6. The M-2000C interface has been fixed to resolve a long-standing mis-calibration for the ADI Pitch.

7. The "Missing Image" image has been changed from the old black cross on a red background to have words, and converted to xaml to improve scaling.
   

8. The UH-60L VSI has been created with associated interface elements. This gauge autobinds to all of the H-60 interfaces.

9. Significant improvements to the DCS UH-1H Huey interface. @MadKreator37

10. F-5E interface has been altered to address an incorrect function for the ADI Pitch Trim Knob described in #19 @MadKreator37

11. F-4U interface change to add the F-4U Water Gauge @MadKreator37

12. Add support for LuaScript bindings to optionally have UTF-8 string encoding. (#888). This allows binding non-Latin text values in values returned from Luascript bindings.

    

13. Enhancement to add the Fuel Gauge Totalizer to the DCS F-16C_50 Interface #889
    

14. A new "Info" message has been added to explicitly describe the location where a Soft (ie JSON) interface is loaded from.

15. Fix for the pilot "Radio Remote Channel Switcher", "Mode Switch" argument 44 in the Mosquito interface. @MadKreator37

16. Fix for #883 which also moves the code into Helios.Controls (leaving a stub in DH98Mosquito for backwards compatibility). The toolbox Locking Three Way Toggle Switch is now a Helios.Base.LockingThreeWayToggleSwitch instead of Helios.DH98Mosquito.LockingThreeWayToggleSwitch which was previously the case in 1.6.6150.2.
