Description
Helioviewer Project creates coverage tables that count the number of images provided per day. Histograms of these data can be used to determine which days have far fewer images than expected. These days can then be passed to either the JP2 generation code or the data acquisition code.
The assessment of gaps can be run periodically to update the gap list. After running these processes a few time we should be able to determine which days have persistent issues that require a more in-depth, less automated explanation.
