To Reproduce
Emoji suggestion option enabled.

Type some random text like "cat", then select the cat emoji from the suggestions.

Afterwards, go to the recent emojis list via the emoji button, and the cat emoji will not appear in the list of recently used emojis. This is a problem because when you want to use the same emoji multiple times, you have to retype the text many times or search for it manually in the list.
