Flipper Zero

Wi-Fi module

To switch your Board to Bootloader mode:

  • Connect the board to your computer via USB (not connected to the flipper GPIO.)
  • Press and hold the BOOT button.
  • Press the RESET button while holding the BOOT button.
  • Release the RESET and BOOT buttons.

To flash your board you may go to this doc for instructions and use this web app on Edge or Chrome to flash it. If the instructions above didn't work you may want to try flashing it from the Flipper following those instructions.

In order to use it once again when flashed with blackmagic, you may cold connect to Flipper GPIO the board (while not connected to the computer and Flipper shutdown):

  • Hold BOOT for around 10 secondes.
  • Board LED should blink slow at first then fast then change color several time (wait until it does not blink anymore and stay red).
  • blackmagic should now be available in the Wi-Fi range vicinity.

Some Informations

When buying a fresh board, it will be in a Wi-Fi access point (AP) mode state: SSID name: blackmagic default pass: iamwitcher Security: WPA/WPA2 Broadcast: 192.168.4.255 DNS: 192.168.4.1 Web app address: http://192.168.4.1 or http://blackmagic.local
