(Android Auto) Skip track controls not working.

I am facing a issue when playing audio through Android auto.
The controls for next and previous track is not passed to Bloomee tunes via Android auto.
I've tried wired and wireless Android auto.
No permissions are denied for Android auto and Bloomee
Battery mode is set to 'Unrestricted' for Android Auto and Bloomee

Same command works over my Bluetooth headphones and wired headphones.
It also works in my car if I use the command to skip the track via the Google voice assistant.

Bloomee tunes version: v2.13.3+2188
Device: Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra - Android 16
Android auto version: 16.0.660244-release (latest available for my phone)
Vehicle: VW GLI 2025 (Canada)

This might likely be just a me problem.
If people in community know that the same is working on their side with a similar setup, please add comments to this thread for potential solution(s).
